We at MIS have a complete in-house steel fabrication team comprising Graduate Engineers from Marine Fabrication and have experience working with various yards wherein new construction, repairs, conversion, and modification projects have been handled by them. We also have a dedicated yard for fabrication jobs in Al Sajja UAE.
Our technicians are well trained with hands-on experience on various projects. All our welders are certified by the Indian Register of Shipping and can execute all types of welding.
- We undertake complete pre-docking lay-up jobs where steel in tanks above water levels and on deck is attended, including all outfitting and pipeline jobs. Hatch cover repairs in situ and on skids as required.
- All types of hydraulic pipeline fabrication are done followed by chemical flushing and pickling as required.

- We have successfully executed many BWTS projects with various makers like Alfa Laval, Desmi, Techross, Sunrui, Optimarine, and Ecomarine
- Conversion of Offshore Support Vessel to Diving Support vessel conversions including the addition of spontoons. Installation and commissioning of FiFi 3 systems including engine pump assembly, piping, and sprinkler systems.
- Steel underwater repairs during docking include repairs on Rudder spade, Skeg steel, curved plates on slamming zones, Kort nozzle repairs, removal, and renewal of drain plugs, forward stem renewal, and renewal of anchor chain missing stud pieces. Stub piece renewal of body valves on the shell.
- Thruster tunnel steel repairs with rolled steel during docking operations. Fabrication of crane structures for ships and workshops.
- Fabrication of all types of manholes with covers, reducers, and Air vent repairs. Renewal of anodes in ballast tanks and on the hull during docking operation.
